Procedure and Recovery Time
Each Mommy Makeover is customized to meet your specific concerns; you can choose to have as many of these separate procedures as you and your surgeon agree on. When possible, procedures may be done during the same operation. However, our doctors always have the comfort and welfare of our patients in mind, and because these are surgical procedures, sometimes it is necessary to spread them out during multiple operations in order to ensure patient safety.
As with all surgical procedures, recovery time is required to allow the body to properly heal. Some procedures are more invasive than others and therefore require more healing time. If the procedures are done during multiple operations, there may be a period of recovery between these separate surgeries. The total amount of recovery time is dependent upon the procedures included in your Mommy Makeover. Because each Mommy Makeover is different the precise number of sessions and expected recovery time will be discussed during your consultation with your doctor.
