Brow Lift

A Brow Lift, also known as a Forehead Lift,
refreshes the forehead and opens up the eye area

A sagging or drooping brow and worry lines can make you look tired, unhappy, and older than you really are.

A brow lift, or forehead lift, targets these problems, lifting a heavy brow and smoothing lines. This procedure can give you a refreshed, more youthful appearance and is often combined with other facial rejuvenation procedures.

Am I a Good Candidate
for a Brow Lift?

In both traditional and endoscopic brow lifts, the muscles in your forehead will be altered by tightening and/or releasing the appropriate muscles depending on your unique needs. This will smooth the wrinkles and lines in your forehead and raise heavy or drooping eyebrows. A traditional brow lift can remove a significant amount of excess skin when needed.

A good candidate for this procedure is also able to withstand general anesthesia used during surgery, be a non-smoker, and have realistic expectations about what a facelift procedure can accomplish.

If you are considering a brow lift in the Scottsdale or Phoenix, Arizona area, please contact us today, and we will be happy to schedule your initial consultation.

Benefits of a Brow Lift

Sun exposure, stress, repetitive facial expressions, and even genetics can lead to a deeply lined and furrowed forehead and/or heavy, sagging eyebrows. This can add years to an otherwise youthful appearance. A brow lift can help reduce deep furrows in the forehead, remove frown lines, lift heavy or drooping eyebrows, and open up the eye area.

Types of
Brow Lifts

traditional brow lift

A traditional brow lift, or coronal browlift, involves a hidden but longer scar in the hairline. It is more extensive than endoscopic surgery and can produce more dramatic results in patients with a significant amount of excess tissue.

Endoscopic brow lift

An Endoscopic brow lift is appropriate for most patients and is much less invasive. Tiny incisions are made, so there is virtually no scarring. A miniature camera is used to see the surgical area and make very precise adjustments to the muscle and tissue.

temporal brow lift

A temporal brow lift, also known as a lateral brow lift, addresses the outer drooping of the forehead and upper eyelids. While a traditional open brow lift will elevate the forehead completely, a temporal brow lift will really just focus on the lateral parts of the forehead.

Complimentary Procedures

Endoscopic Mid-Facelift

The endoscopic facelift, also referred to as a cheek lift, is minimally invasive and virtually scarless. This method uses tiny incisions hidden in the hairline and a miniature camera to lift the cheek area. A mid facelift can correct:

• Sagging mid-face
• Sagging cheeks
• Cheek folds
• Lines around the mouth
• Jowls
• Hallowing in the lower eyelids
• Deep nasolabial folds (smile lines)

Fat Grafting (Fat Transfer)

Transfer of fat to the face is a natural solution to achieve a more youthful look and enhance the results of facial plastic surgery procedures.

Using the patient’s own fat cells, a fat graft, or fat transfer can be used as an alternative to implants or facial fillers. By using your own natural fat cells, a subtle enhancement is achieved for long-lasting, natural results.

Facelift
(Neck lift)

The traditional facelift addresses the lower two-thirds of your face and neck, removing excess skin and fat and tightening the muscles. The result is a smoother, firmer, more youthful appearance. A traditional facelift can correct:

•  Loose skin
•  Fat deposits
•  Creases below the lower eyelids
• Marionette (smile) lines, or creases around the mouth
• Mid-face sagging
• Jowls
• Double chin

Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Lift)

Eyelid surgery can address the upper lids, lower lids, or both, and can correct the appearance of aging eyes, restoring the youthful beauty to the focal point of your face. A blepharoplasty can correct:

  • Drooping
  • Sagging
  • Misplaced pockets of fat
  • Hooded or drooping lids
  • Dark circles
  • Hollowing eyes
  • Bags from under your eyes
  • Excess skin causing wrinkles
