The Morpheus8 Procedure
Morpheus8 combines the skin tightening benefits of microneedling with RF energy for deep thermal stimulation. Microneedling techniques have been shown to reduce wrinkles and firm skin by creating precise micro-wounds throughout the treated area, prompting the skin to mount its healing response, which includes ramping up the production of collagen.
Treating the subdermal region with thermal energy from RF allows the building blocks of collagen and elastin to reorganize themselves, creating a long-term natural result to help reduce the signs of aging in the face, neck, and body. Morpheus8 is capable of penetrating up to four millimeters with an additional two-millimeter thermal stimulation depth, ensuring precise, proper treatment for all types of skin.
Numbing cream is applied prior to Morpheus8 for optimal comfort during the procedure. There is minimal to no downtime involved with the procedure.
Recovery & Results
From Morpheus8
Following a Morpheus8 treatment session, the treated area will be highly sensitive to sunlight, so keep it covered and avoid sun exposure. This also ties into the natural benefit of using a good broad-spectrum sunscreen to help protect the delicate skin of the face from UV damage that causes visible signs of aging, including lines and wrinkles.
You can expect to experience up to 48 hours slight redness after each treatment session depending on your skin. Although your results can start to appear as soon as a few days after a session, improving over the course of several weeks to months.
Most patients benefit from more than one Morpheus8 treatments for the most optimal results, depending on their goals and original skin condition. We recommend a series of at least three treatments.
