Facelift vs. Mini-facelift

Facelift vs. Mini-facelift

There has been a rise in popularity of the mini-facelift, sometimes called the lunch-time lift, because it is such a quick and minimally invasive facelift procedure. Phoenix area plastic surgeons, does not usually recommend the mini-facelift for their patients.

The mini-facelift does not produce the same great results as a traditional facelift. With a traditional facelift, you can turn back the hands of time by removing the excess skin and fat on your face and neck. You will look and feel as much as ten to fifteen years younger and enjoy those results for years to come.

A mini-facelift may be appropriate if you aren’t showing many signs of aging yet and want a subtle rejuvenation. our surgeons will only perform mini-facelifts on patients who fully understand its limitations and are looking for a fresh look for a special occasion. A mini-facelift will not give you comparable results to the more extensive and traditional facelift.

Some patients are not ready for a full facelift and may benefit from nonsurgical procedures, like BOTOX® Cosmetic or facial fillers. Be sure to discuss your options with one of our surgeons.
