The Benefits of SmartLipo
The newest, most advanced, form of liposuction, SmartLipo provides patients with better liposuction results in a faster, safer procedure. SmartLipo uses laser technology to assist in the liposuction process, allowing Dr. Bryan Gawley, M.D. to perform SmartLipo on small or large areas of your body.
There are many different benefits of SmartLipo, but the benefits that our Phoenix, Arizona patients are most interested in include:
Speed - For most patients, a SmartLipo procedure can produce fantastic liposuction results in just 45 to 60 minutes.
Tighter Skin - The laser technology used in conjunction with SmartLipo stimulates collagen production in the skin. This improves results because the skin is firmer and more elastic after the procedure.
Shorter Recovery - SmartLipo is less invasive and less traumatic for tissue because it uses laser technology to prevent excess bleeding and a small cannula to make the procedure more precise. These aspects of SmartLipo make the recovery process less intense and shorter than the traditional liposuction recovery.
Since SmartLipo is more precise and less invasive than traditional liposuction, it is ideal for smaller areas on the body like the chin, arms, and face. SmartLipo can also be used on bigger areas like the thighs, buttock, and love handle area.
No matter what part of your body you would like to recontour, SmartLipo can help you achieve the results you want. Please contact Phoenix, Scottsdale area cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Bryan W. Gawley today to schedule your initial consultation.

What to Expect After a Mommy Makeover
Deciding to have a Mommy Makeover can be a difficult choice for any woman, and one of the factors that comes into play when making this decision is life after the procedure. Once you have had your Mommy Makeover, your life will be completely different.
Immediately following your Mommy Makeover, you will need to rest and recover for at least a few weeks. Depending on which cosmetic surgeries were performed, you will experience swelling and bruising around the surgery sites. You will also need to avoid strenuous physical activity for a few weeks after the surgery.
We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the results of your Mommy Makeover and that you get back to living your normal life as quickly as possible. In order to do this, you will need to keep the surgery site clean and take the medication prescribed to you.
Dr. Gawley will help schedule follow-up appointments with you after your surgery so that he can make sure you are not at risk of any complications or infections. He will also give you a list of exercises that you can do to promote healing and recovery.
To learn more about Mommy Makeovers, please contact us today to schedule your initial consultation. Once you have scheduled your Mommy Makeover procedure with Dr. Bryan W. Gawley in Phoenix, Arizona, he will review all of the post-operative instruction you need to follow.

Benefits of Mommy Makeover
Having children can be incredibly stressful on the body, and many women find that it is nearly impossible to regain their body contour after they've given birth. For women like this, Dr. Bryan W. Gawley, M.D. in Phoenix, Arizona performs Mommy Makeovers that can reshape the breasts and body.
In the past, women who were unsatisfied with the appearance of their bodies didn't have many options for correcting their look. Today, experienced plastic surgeons like Dr. Gawley can combine a few different cosmetic surgery procedures to completely revive and reshape a woman's body after she's had children.
With a Mommy Makeover, a woman can change the shape of her breasts with a breast lift or breast augmentation; she can also tighten her stomach with a tummy tuck, or she can remove excess fat with liposuction.
Finally, instead of returning to our plastic surgery office for months for different procedures, many women can have their surgeries performed at the same time. By performing procedures in conjunction with each other, women only need to go through one recovery process, saving them time and discomfort.
If you would like to learn more about your Mommy Makeover in Phoenix, Arizona, please contact Phoenix, Scottsdale area cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Bryan W. Gawley today to schedule your initial consultation.

This means that no matter what you want to correct on your body, a Mommy Makeover can help you. Mommy Makeovers are great for almost all women who are dealing with deflated breasts, excess skin and fat, or stretch marks.
In order to correct the individual problems you may have with your body, Dr. Bryan W. Gawley, M.D. combines a few different cosmetic surgery procedures. For many women, the Mommy Makeover includes a tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift, or breast augmentation.
A good Mommy Makeover candidate will be finished having children, in good overall health, and will still have good skin elasticity. Mommy Makeovers are surgical procedures, so it's important that you are in good mental and physical health so that you can recover as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

When women come to our Phoenix, Arizona plastic surgery office to learn about our Mommy Makeover procedures, they usually have a lot of questions. Dr. Bryan Gawley wants to make sure all his cosmetic surgery patients are completely comfortable with their procedure.
To help answer some of the most common Mommy Makeover questions we hear at our office, we’ve provided answers for our potential Mommy Makeover patients:
What can a Mommy Makeover correct?
The beautiful thing about Mommy Makeovers is that they combine a variety of other procedures to correct any number of aesthetic problems you may have with your body. Some of the most common problems women correct with a Mommy Makeover include:
- Sagging or Flat Breasts
- Protruding Stomach
- Excess Skin and Fat
- Stretched Stomach Muscles
How long does a Mommy Makeover take?
Unlike other cosmetic surgery procedures, each Mommy Makeover is different. The length of your Mommy Makeover procedure and the length of your recover will depend on how many different procedures you are undergoing and how extensive they are. For instance, a woman having liposuction and a breast lift may recover more quickly than a woman undergoing breast augmentation and abdominoplasty.
If you are considering a Mommy Makeover and you live in the Phoenix, Arizona area, the best thing you can is contact Bryan W. Gawley, M.D. to schedule an initial consultation.

Breast Augmentation Incision Options
If you want to have breast augmentation to improve the size or shape of your breasts, you have many options to ensure that you get the best breast augmentation for you. One of these options is to select a breast augmentation incision that is right for you.
Incisions Dr. Gawley uses for breast augmentation are:
- Inframammary (in the breast crease)
- Periareolar (around the areola)
- Transaxillary (in the armpit)
All three incisions allow for excellent results and are well-concealed. Saline breast implants can be placed using all three incisions. Silicone breast implants cannot be placed using the transaxillary incision.
Inframammary incisions may be best if you are looking to correct asymmetric breasts. Periareolar incisions often produce the least visible scars. Transaxillary incision scars are very small and have the advantage of not being on the breasts.
During your consultation, Dr. Gawley will discuss the incision options with you and which one might be best for getting the results you desire. Please call or email our Phoenix, Arizona office today.
